Configuring a Security Notice

TheSecurity Noticepage allows you to specify a message that will display for all users when logging on to theQ-Cloud Protectvirtual console or the command line interface (CLI).

If a security notice message has been specified, the user must accept the message before using the system. If no security notice has been specified, the user can use the system immediately after logging on.

Configure a Security Notice

1. From theConfigurationmenu, selectSystem > Security > Security Noticeto display theSecurity Noticepage.

2. In theUpdate Security Notice Contentbox, enter a security message.

   Note:We recommend limiting the characters in the security message. Messages that are too long will be truncated in theSecurity Noticedialog box.

3. ClickApply.
